Tamar Milling youngstock blends are energy dense, with quality protein sources and are in a coarse form to stimulate and fully develop rumen function. We only use quality traditional ingredients with proven palatability, which are then molassed to ensure good intakes and minimal dustiness.
18% Baby Calf coarse mix
A traditional molassed coarse mix, containing a high inclusion of micronised flaked ingredients. This coarse mix is highly digestible and extremely palatable to get your baby calves ruminating and growing early. The energy levels (13.6Mj/KgDM), protein sources and digestibility of this mix are far superior to the typical calf pellet product. Premium Calf 18%
Less molasses mix containing more A mix of rolled cereals, micronized flaked maize, UK sugarbeet and high quality protein sources less molasses than traditional coarse mixes to ensure flowability through feeders. Priced to compete with basic calf pellets but will provide better early intakes, better rumen development and higher growth rates. Use from birth to 12weeks adlib with clean straw for forage
Cattle rearing blends
Our popular cattle rearer range is available in 14, 16, 18, or 20% protein to balance various forages that may be available on farm, from high quality grass to straw. Made with rolled cereals, sugar beet pellets, distillers grains, rapeseed meal, hipro soya and molasses, with full vitamin, mineral and trace element supplementation to ensure your young cattle grow to their potential. Use from 10 weeks onwards with forage. Feed rate will depend on type of forage and performance required.
